Please post pics of your 1947 to 1955 chevy or gmc on an s10 frame. I have done a lot of research on s10 frame swaps on the AD trucks and I just started on mine. Just looking for more ideas and info. I have looked at a lot of threads but none are AD specific.

chances are this will get closed. there are so many s10 swap threads on here and it's really gotten to be kind of HAMB unfriendly. Clark did the first thread a long time ago and Ryan has tried to stem the tide by letting a couple of the larger threads live on. So don't be surprised.

HAMB friendly?? What`s breaking this " golden" rule?
Why not let it run its course? You must have this mistaken for an IFS thread.

To quote Ryan, the owner of the site when he has shut these down...

"This is a traditional hot rod forum. "

Maybe if you paid attention you'd understand. Maybe if half you guys joined the "HAMB Alliance" and actually support the board there would be a little more latitude.

`49 not HAMB friendly? Seems it`s hard to find "friendly" on here sometimes.I pay attention to everything by the way. Hence the post about negativity. Let`s let Ryan decide.

It's not the body dude. it's the S10 shit, it's been beat to death and over run a lot of actual "Traditional Hot Rod and Custom" posts. And you obviously don't pay attention if you think S10 frames are traditional, they get a pass a lot of times because you don't see them, they're hidden. Now go join the Alliance and support the site.

I`m sorry if I don`t get it because it is about the body and you must have had a bad experience with an S-10 sometime in your life to feel so strongly. Alliance membership is all well and good however it is a personal choice so stop with the sales pitch. It has nothing to do with the thread although some may think it`s a noble statement.

I have all styles of cars in my personal collection and love every aspect of hotrodding. Many new rods are done with late model or new parts that are obscurred by the body and it is a big part of being able to drive HAMB friendly cars long distance with great reliability. If you want to get the last word in I promise I won`t post on this thread again. We`ve killed it anyway.

No bad experience with an S10. Sorry. Just hate seeing the HAMB over run with it. Hell my International sits on an S10 right now.

As for Alliance membership being a personal choice, yes, to support the site is a personal choice, but the right one. Not joining doesn't help the site grow and continue to thrive. It's basically a parasitic drag on it.

And for the record, the HAMB is not about "all aspects of hot rodding" no matter how much some people want it to be.
