Sad thing is you could bring that whole car to New York and sell it as a project. ***le doesn't matter. And the rust is nothing compared to what they do up here. I parted out a '47 fastback a few years ago and sold the motor and trans for $500 alone - set up and dead.
Oh man I love that and those headers are crazy sick! That is *****en car right there. I want to go look at this coming weekend if all works out but I just got hit with a bill that might hold me up for a little of buying but I'm going with the flow. Yeah getting a ***le in VA ****s and can be a big big problem. DMV messed up my ***le on my Coronet and I didnt catch it until I was selling it. They made a 0 and 8 in the ***le it was in the build squence number and they wanted to come out and inspect the car, run the vin and if it checked out they would give me a new ***le....great right...No they were going to cut the vin# off and put a new state issued vin. I about flipped out on them. The R/T is a one of one car. The collector who bought it said dont worry I will take care of it and he did.
