For sale today is a 1947 Chevy business coupe. The chassis is finished. The original frame has been treated to a tubular MII type front suspension. It includes the "big brake kit" with new calipers, rotors, and QA1 adjustable coil overs. Posies "Super Slide" rear springs support the Olds Bravada rear end which is also fitted with disc brakes. The motor mounts are set up for an LT1, but adapter plates are included to bolt in a regular SBC. The trans mount is set up for a 350. The frame is plumbed for fuel and brakes and the whole thing is covered in black POR15. A new Mustang tank is mounted between the frame rails. The car rolls on Chevy rally wheels. The body is EXTREMELY solid! New floors and firewall are installed and the rear wheel wells have been mini-tubbed. A GM steering column has been installed and is fastened to the power rack and pinion unit. The brake pedal is hung and the master cylinder is mounted on the firewall, with the booster mounted under the dash for a clean look under the hood. The doors and front sheet metal are solid and fit very well. The grille is solid and would be an excellent candidate for rechroming or painting. Unfortunately we do not have a trunk lid for this car. This would be an awesome car to build and drive as-is or blow it apart over the winter and build a show stopping hot rod!! Title included. $5500 obo. Car is located in Martinton, IL.
