Starting to collect parts for my '47 cabover. The truck in general is pretty crunchy (rust) but even crunchier than the rusted body is the toasted steering box, it jams before you even get close to maxing it out when turning right. What would be a good replacement? A van? A motorhome? A Toyota?

I am using the stock frame...

    Suggestions?

  3. Ya got pictures of the box? Is it similar to a regular truck box or car box in terms of size and etc.?

Heck, ya got pics of the truck itself??

I am not sure if truck is cross steer or side steer but I would opt for a power box and cross steer..Sag 605, sag 800, or a Delphi from around 2003 jeep [cherokee I think] if need a long sector shaft to handle frame vertical dimension..
