Projects 1947 Ford Convertible Trunk Handle- Need Nut!

    Well, during the restoration process I lost the darn nut.. anyone know where I can pick one up? I tried a few hardware stores and they all said no dice

    Take it with you to Home Depot and find a match in the bin drawers.

    tried home depot/ lowes/ hardware stores they say it was a "manufactured for ford nut"..

    Yea, I think you'll never "find" it. I remember it as a large hex, like 1 1/4, and very thin. I think you can get just the nut from Drake.

    ebay. there's 3 on now. "1941 ford trunk handle nut" $.01 !!!

    Thank you so much!!!.. I have been looking for one without any luck!!.. I put a bid ends tomorrow if I don't buy it- I will spring for the expensive one!!!
