Shame on ya! Some FNG guy comes up with an idea and you go and steal it. Just because you managed to do the 300 hrs work overnight, that don't let you off the hook. :D

Now I have found where that front end meets my liking. Great job.

You'll have a TON of people asking you if it's one of those "Mercury" pickups from Canada.
    It looks GREAT!!

Great look-just wish you had some shots of the modifications. Obviously you had to to graft the front of the passenger car hood onto the truck hood but what else?

It does look great..I wonder if it would look out of proportion on my 0ne-ton panel truck

  19. Not only are the car front clips gonna go crazy, a lot of the unwanted trucks are now going to be sought after...

I almost bout a 47 as my first hotrod (got my 53 wagon instead) but the limiting factor was that ugly front end. wondered if a car front would work. I would own a 47 now after seeing your picture

  24. Great idea and looks like some good workmanship in implementing it. Looks like it was born that way. A '41 or '42 Ford car front end or any of the '41-'48 Mercury car front sheet metal would look good as well. I had never seen it done but often wondered if it would work, and wondered why Ford didn't do it in the first place. Hudson used passenger car front sheet metal on pickups up through about '48.

    WOW! That looks really good!

I have to admit, I scanned over your text quickly and didn't really pay attention before moving on to the pictures. I guess I thought you put the car suspension on the truck frame, but when I looked at the pics, I was like "wait, is this some weird Canadian model '47 Ford that I have never seen before?" Haha, man that really makes an ugly truck look beautiful, I'm blown away!
