Was perusing my local late-model junkyard when I came across a '47/'48 GM Aerosedan 2-door near the entrance. It wasn't there two weeks ago. Looks like it had been subframed and the project stalled. The body looks decent, but no fenders on it. Piled up inside was a bumper, fenders, I think fender skirts, and a grille. Too many hornets to investigate properly. I managed to pull the grille and discovered it was an OLDS! One of my favorite grilles for customs. So I bought the grille and took it home, even though I don't need it. It was just too cool to pass up. There is no title to the car, but I think they will sell it whole or piecemeal. At the very least it would be a perfect donor car if you are doing a top chop on one and needed extra metal. If you do get the car, I know where you can get a grille... Here's the yard info: A-Z U-Pull-it Used Auto Parts 194 Ridge Rd (1block off Rt 61) Shoemakersville, PA 19555 (Closed Tues & Sun) Didn't have my camera at the yard, but here is the grille I took home.
it was still there as of saturday morning i went and cked it out, overall its a fairly solid body, i was wandering if the grill was with the car when it came in
