Technical 1948 Caddy Flathead

I'm looking at buying a 48 Cad sedan to use as a donor for a Sedanette I am building. The sedan has the original flathead and hydramatic with 98K. I drove it at 60 mph and it runs very well. I don't need the drivetrain. Question: What is the engine and ****** worth and are they marketable? If not, the deal isn't a deal.
