1948 chevy question

HAS ANYONE removed the rear hydr. shocks and installed regular shocks on the stock rearend

 

Sticking a set of Napa 94004 on the rear of a 51 Bel in a couple of days.

 

Check with Kimbridge Enterprises (425) 487-0763 they make rear spring conversion kits. I bought their setup for my '40 Chevy and it included frame shock mounts and tube shocks. It all bolted on and works good.
