Thinking about chopping my truck and wonder if anyone would share any insight about how much to chop and any helpful hints. Thanks-john
On mine I did a four inch chop and four inch section. If I was just doing the chop alone I probably wouldn't go that far because it would get really out of proportion and just look squashed. To line up the posts after the chop get a roof from a parts truck, cut both roofs in half leaving the front longer on one, trim to match, and weld together with just one seam across the roof. Much easier than trying to fabricate a filler strip for the middle of the roof.
