1948 dodge brake help

    Help...... does anyone know any tricks to remove rear brake drums on a 1948 dodge deluxe? Ive been fighting with this drum for about a week.the other side came off no problem.ive bent 2 pullers from autozone already.thanks

    You need a hell of a big puller. If the hub is put on right it's on there tight and they grow together over the years.

    The one that came off easy, you are lucky it never spun on the axle. The key does not hold it, the wedging action is what keeps them together.

    You need a stronger puller. And then some heat might be needed.
