I have a 48 Ford Conv. and right side mirror is useless. You can't see it from drivers seat. Has anyone mounted the mirrors on the doors? Thanks

Most right side mirrors on old cars have always been useless. They were put on the cars to balance out the left one. Make the car look symmetrical.

I have a pair on my coupe that should also work on a convert. I got them from Bob Drake. Th right side is mounted in a slightly different place than the left, but I don't think it's noticeable. When you postion them for install , sit in your driving position and have someone move the right one around until it suits you. The divider bar for the vent window tends to get in the way.
