I am new to this thread but have a question. Is the 1948 F6 COE frame the same as the 1948 F6 truck frame. I was wondering if I could move the COE cab and fenders onto the truck frame with little to no fabrication. I think the frames are the same but cant seem to find a definitive answer on the ford cl***ic truck websites. thanks for any help

Yes they are basically the same. The COE uses a "sub frame" between the cab and frame to raise it up over the engine. Cab mounts are different. Pedals are different. Running boards are different. Probably doable if you have all the right pieces.
What is the end goal? An original type truck or something custom?

i am looking to keep the coe somewhat original. i have the complete 1948 coe plus a complete 1948 f6 farm truck that has been through a tornado but the frame and motor still work and run properly. thank you so much for the help. its definitely gives me more direction on what i might do. rj
