Hot Rods 1948 Huckins Special

    Does anybody know more about this car?

    it was built by Bill Huckins of Yakima, WA.
    It had a Chevy ch***is and engine, and Ford truck bodyparts.

    I like it...

    Doesn't look like much from the front but from the side and rear it has potential.
    A little of this and a little of that.

    Has a Nash Healey look to the front. Have we given these "Popular Mechanics" cars like this a name? They aren't Hot Rods or real Customs but there were enough like them to form their own group.
     
  4. Any more info on the Chevy ch***is & engine? Looks like that exhaust pipe was painful!
