He guys, I am customizing a 1940 Mercury coupe that has a 1948 Mercury V8. It also has the Columbia 2 speed rear end. I am planning on putting a dual carburetor intake with dual carbs. on it in the near future. It currently has the 2 rods (throttle and choke) that comes from the firewall that attach to each side of the carburetor. I would prefer to get rid of these rods if possible. Is there a cable that is available for these functions or must I get the linkages to make the 2 rods work? any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rocky.
