Been looking at this thread for YEARS.....My '49 I picked up from the son and daughter of the late owner who had it since 1953.... That's teenage him with the car back then, how it looked when I got it, and now.

 

Cool to know the history! Great looking Merc. Wide whites and 4 bars are easy and big improvement! Have FUN!

Slowly getting my 49 road worthy again. The car sat in storage for 30 years with the windows down and was supposed to be crushed last October. But here I am driving it around town getting the kinks out
