  7. Wow A-bone. Nice work, and congratulations on getting it running!

  8. thanks Abone. i did have to think about it a couple of times but the two door donor was too cheap to not do it. keep us posted and if ya got any Q's on the chop, dont be afraid to ask. i gave mine a 4 in the back, and 3 out of the a-piller haircut. thats 4 inch vertical out back and wrapped 3 inch tape around the a-piller so it is really a 4 and a 2 3/4. ether

    Thanks Rikster...

I was going to guess Bailon because of the grill.
Dave has a kool picture of the dash on his web site.

    Thanks for the info..

    Happy Trails,

Yes, the padded dash is way too kool. Being built by Bailon I'm surprised to see it done so
mild and tastefull. I like a lot of his old stuff but sometimes he goes a little out of my taste
    zone....

Two of my old cars....(wish I still owned them both today.......) Merc was a 51/50 rear window. Split the top like Dick Dean does his. Gives the roof a nice look in the c pillar area.

Full length roof. Look how close the top is to the trunk, not just slid forward. I used a donor top on my 49, left the rear window where it was, just layed it down. That by the way is a great chop!!!!!!!!!........OLDBEET

Got any side shots of your car? Trying to imagine it, but it really gives a long look to the roof, matches the body well!

Here's my 51. Uncut. Complete metal up resto 14 years ago. Mild cam, Offy heads and intake, 2 97's, Fenton headers and Smithy's, 3spd with OD, lowered 2 inches. ORIGINAL rear seat fabric. Runs and drives like a champ. does 70-80 down the freeway all day, get decent milage too.
