Ok Stray Kat, you now owe me a new keyboard! I just drooled all over it and fryed it on this video. It certainly shows why Mr. Dick Dean was one of the best-check out the profile in the first few seconds of the video of how he placed that 51' back window so cleanly that it literally flows right into the trunk lid. Beside all of the other mods on this car, that back window treatment is as beautiful as it gets.
Its Green, Its Mean and Its Lean with all the shaving that's been done. The hardtop treatment is absolutely on the money.
Lol! Sorry, send me your address, I'll go through our office keyboard salvage....... The Merc is smooth and the chop is one of the best. I didn't know that 1951 Mercury's have different shaped back glasses. Some are flatter, some are bubbled. Talking to Mercury Charlie he pointed that fact out. I forgot how many back glasses he went through before he found one flat enough to fit the flow of the chop top. Once you see it, it makes a difference the way the profile.
