Hot Rods 1949-50 Mercury glass color

I have full size green glass that is in very good condition and was guessing it can be cut down to size.

My question is does a chopped "black" Merc look descent with all green glass or should I purchase a tinted glass all around.

 

I am certain that tinted windshield is not legal, but the others would look good tinted. I think green glass is what they had back then, I ordered new safety glass for a project recently, and it has a slight green to it, even though it looks clear. Yours might just be more green than they are now...
