Before I ask the question you need to know that my 1950 Chevy Fleetline is the newest car I've desided to rebuild, so this is the first of what may be real basic questions for you late model guys. How do you remove the rear window? Does the stainless trim just clip into the rubber gasket? Do you slide the two center clips off, they pry it off with a putty knife? [IMG] I want to reuse the stainless, the rubber is petrified, gl*** is so so. Is there a "How to take apart your Chevy" book I need to get? Thanks!

Cut the rubber from the inside with a utility knife (or whatever) and push the window out. Then rmove the stainless from the rubber. Stainless trim has a lip that hooks inside the rubber, if you try to pull it out with the gl*** installed there's gonna be problems....
