    ALERT!

The digital file download has moved to my HotRodReverend.com website and specifically this link: https://www.hotrodreverend.com/product-page/50-s-ford-restoration-files

I was paying each month for the other site to host the "store" where the files were kept and not many guys were making purchases so I ended up losing some dough. My personal website can now host a download that large (roughly 800 MB) and as you hear from others who have purchased the CD (or this download) it is a tremendous help to us.

NOTE: The Y Block Magazine is not yet available - more on that in another post. Please do not purchase yet.

A number of people have been asking for me to go digital with the files since a lot of guys are no longer using CD's or even thumb drives. (The CD's and thumb drives are still available by the way) once the transaction is processed, the files will download to you in a rather larger zip folder. The cost is the same for the digital download because I have to pay a monthly fee to a hosting/payment processing service for the file transactions. All in all though, it's still a great deal!

...... from a few years back

Suffice to say the computer CD includes the Paxton McCulloch VS57 installation files/manuals, the highly touted 1949-59 Ford Passenger Car Parts Manuals (almost 1000 pages each), the late 50's Ford V8 engine manual (Sample Y block pages are shown below and it also includes the I6 and the FE), and a few T85 Borg Warner files.

Granted, some of these you can find on the internet, but it is handy to have this on a CD and use it in your shop. Nothing beats being able to print out the pages you need, take them to the shop and discard them when you are done. Keeps your originals looking good.

I do put a nice label on the CD's and they are put into a sleeve. The USPS First Class shipping is included in a $16 price. After buying CD's, paying for the labels, the inkjet ink for printing, and having them burned, and then shipping them to you, there's not much left over.

If you live overseas, give me an address and we will talk shipping cost. The post office makes me ship these as a package unfortunately. That means package shipping - last one that went to Australia cost $10 (just as a reference).

We can also do a thumb drive for you (4 GB), it would be $18 with shipping included. If you live outside the US, please message me to determine shipping cost.

You can either send me a snail mail to

or you can shoot me an email at dan.jessup@hotrodreverend.com and I can send you a paypal invoice.

Thanks,I try to pass along links to get these on several forums and facebook. When the H.A.M.B. did that infamous "upgrade" a while back this forum was lost close to 3 weeks and several groups have popped up on facebook around that time so guys could get the "Ford Fix" so I pass it along there as well. Thanks for what you do !

Is there anything on the CD pertaining to 52's that isn't in the 49-59 Illustrationss and Text books? I find that the books are a little lacking in some sections.

The files are digital copies of the books themselves. I do not believe you would find anything different.

That's what I was afraid of. Maybe I need to spend more time going through them.

For example, last night I was trying to find the part number for the windshield for a 53 Crestline(I have a 52 and should be the same part number, or really close). Nothing for it or the convertible.

This CD is so very much worth it. Great resource for our rides. I have one that is supposedly for a 68 cutlass, but the information it is poor compared to the Ford CD.

danman, have you checked the media rate at the PO. I may be wrong, but i think you can send CDs at the lower media rate.. I have one of your CDs and love it. Sure beats searching forever on the internet.

The last time I took in the cardboard envelope, with CD, I was told that a CD is not considered Media and that to get the Media rate the package could only contain bound material. Go figure. That was in*****ord, Ohio, about a month ago.

glad to hear you are getting use from it!

That's not true. These are the actual regs:

Yep, I've gone through the same thing here. That's why I knew where to find those regs. I've also had them try to tell me they won't accept packages that were well within the size and weight restrictions, but were too big for them personally to handle.
