Is there a market for old repair manuals? I just became the owner of several old Chilton, Motor's, John Deere, etc. repair/troublehshooting manuals from 1949 to the late 60's. I'm having one of those "Now why did I bid on this stuff?" days. 1967 Complete Engine Tune Up Guide Rite Autotronics Corporation. 1946-67 spec for all US cars/trucks. Softcover 1949 Motor Age Flate Rate and Service Manual Chilton Company. Hardcover 1275 pages 1958 Chevrolet Passenger Car Shop Manual. Softcover 1959-60 Chevrolet Passenger Car Shop Manual Supplement. Softcover 1960 Chiltons Auto Repair Manual. Hardcover 1951 Motors auto Repair Manual Hardcover 1966 Motors auto Repair Manual Hardcover Late 1960s several Ford Handbooks on troubleshooting and servicing brakes, steering, rear ends, carbs, etc. soft cover. 1957 John Deere company The Operation, Care, and Repair of Farm Machines 1963 Ford Galaxie and 1962-63 Mercury Monterey Shop Manual Supplement. Has apx. 212 pages, but page 175 to the end has progressively worse damage. Last 5-10 pages are unreadable.
I like to have a shop manual for every old car I'm working on, I'd say there's a market for that stuff... I mean, you bought 'em.
