Technical 1949 chevy truck front drivers fender

Does anyone know what the difference between gmc front drivers fender and chevy front drivers fender.
Will they interchange bolt right up.
I have a 1949 chevy 3100 the guy selling it says it is off a 47 to 53 gmc.
Pictures looks identical to mine except the gmc has the front blinker below headlight.

 

They are different.

 

Fender should work.
Just deal with the marker light hole.
The big difference between the 2 is the hood, grill surround, hood latch panel, front gravel guard pieces.

and make sure it’s not from a larger truck like a 1.5 ton.

 

So pretty much it should just bolt up we are reusing our inner fender.
we had a little accident with the truck and crushed fender so we just need to replace the fender is all

 

From what I’ve read, they are dimensionally the same. Just the cosmetic marker light issue. And maybe extra holes for the grill surround.
I’ve got a 49 gmc. Used Chevy inner fenders during mock up. Seemed to fit.

 

I will make the trip for it and take my fender with just to check holes then.
Just trying to save a 4 hr drive is all.
I know it looks decent from photo but was not sure on fitment.
