Hot Rods 1949 Chrysler rear end with factory Lambert disc Brakes

    Looking to find any information about these Ausco Lambert Disc brakes-- Picked this rear end up today, interesting rear disc brkes. Not too much out in the world about them. I have the complete rear end, not in the best condition.. Question how could they go on a 9" ford rear or will they.?     Reminds me of a dual clutch set-up. I hatee to say this but I'd really like to play with those just to see how the operate and how well they work !!

    Neat setup, kind of reminds me of a hog oiler. :cool: A single one, slightly modified, would make a great parking ("emergency") brake, and you wouldn't need to worry about wearing out the friction material.
