Our coupe is lowered in the rear via 3" blocks. Question is...what is the easiest/smartest/safest way to to remove the rear tires? How do you guys do this? Thanks. John

  2. Hard to answer based on the information provided. What rear axle? WMS to WMS? How wide a tire? Shock Travel?
On my 53 (same basic platform), I have to jack the car up to unload the spring and get the tire off of the ground several inches. I have enough travel in my shock to unload the spring pretty well. Lean the tire out at the bottom and wiggle it straight out. I have to deflate mine to do it with running a later rear axle the same width as stock with 10" drums and 225/60 tires on a 15" steel rim.
