I am needing a pair of 1949 Ford Coupe front wheel grease caps.
Hard for me to measure accurately, but NAPA has them and they are listed at ~2" dia.
Can anyone tell me the dimension I need ??
    Thanks much.

Very generous of you. I appreciate, and may take you up on your offer.
However, if you could just measure them and let me know the outside dia. that would help.
My local NAPA cag get them, but needs to know that dimension . :)

If your NAPA guy can get them; please post the part number.

I've never found a normal parts store source of that size cap.

Repops are available from early Ford parts dealers.

Why didn't you just measure your hubs?

I tried but don't have the instruments. Also am blind in one eye so difficult to do. I did measure as best I could and thought it to be just shy of 2"

    UPDATE:
    MY APOLOGIES :(
I have been physically handicapped for some time now, but turning (82) tomorrow is pointing out more than I like to hear, or figure out. :(
I had a brain fart this morning, and suddenly remembered that when I bought my '49 Coupe three years ago it had ****py mixed aftermarket wheels on it.
Had trouble finding correct Ford wheels so went to '49-'51 Dodge wheels, which are basically the same....
OTHER than the grease cap hole...
Geesh. I was able to order some from local NAPA today....

Sorry, but I’m not seeing a relationship between the wheels and the grease cap that goes on/into the hub?

    Would you explain please?

    Thanks.
    And happy birthday!
