A newspaper clipping of an interview given by him about the car quotes him as believing the car originated in the Carolinas. Description: An overall solid, nice driving example of the first year of the “shoebox” Ford. It is generally stock, with a few minor cosmetic custom touches. The interior is in great condition, with seat belts added as a safety upgrade. The radio does not currently work. The car starts easily, runs smoothly, and drives nicely, a testament to the electronic ignition and radial tire upgrades.
