I love this truck, but you can’t keep them all.
Anybody can own a Chevy, be different, drive a GMC.
This truck was purchased in Missouri in 1990, almost 25 years ago. It originally came from Kansas, there was very little rust.
It sat in dry storage for the next 18 years, and in 2008 I started the build.
    Chevy 305 TBI/700R4
Affordable Fuel Injection TBI wiring harness
    Rebel 12 volt wiring harness
    Fatman Fabrications Mustang II IFS
11 inch GM pattern disk brake upgrade, this thing stops on dime
New floors, left cab corner, front and rear bed panels
    15X6 Front Wheels,15X7 Rear Wheels
Camaro rear axle, 1991, 3.42 ratio
Polished stainless headers, polished stainless 2 inch dual exhaust
24 Gallon fuel tank under the bed.
    New high capacity radiator
Thunderbird power rack and pinion steering
GM tilt and telescopic steering column w/ 59 Chevy Belair steering wheel
    88 Chevy pickup bench seat
Mount for spare behind seat, jack, and lug wrench
Original Fulton visor, I think it looks killer
Rebuilt 49 Chevrolet Car speedometer (100 MPH) w/ custom designed face
New oil pressure, fuel, temp gauges with custom designed faces
NOS Kraco AM/FM radio w/ new speakers – looks right at home
Hula Girl on dash may be included - depending on final price
New 12 Heater motor, rebuilt heater core
All new glass, rubber, weatherstripping, glass channels, etc.
Full cab insulation, floors, ceiling, doors, firewall, etc. very quiet
Custom bed wood, pressure treated, new bed strips
New tailgate hinges and chains, original tailgate.
New Class II receiver and hitch
    New front bumper
This truck drives like a late model truck. It floats down the road at 70 mph. It has been on the road for 5 years now, logged around 15K miles, and proved to be extremely reliable.
When I first put it on the road, it was getting 19 MPG, I haven’t checked lately.
I would not hesitate jumping in this truck and driving coast to coast.
