1949 Lincoln Service Merchandizer Work Station restoration.

    The "adverti*****t panel" that mounts on top of the station was missing also. I used some old folding chairs to source the bends for the outer perimeter of the panel. I then welded a flat panel on and finished it out. For a home made piece, it looks pretty convincing. A little stick on chrome and some lettering and it's done.

    I think my finished product might look even better than the "Inspiration Station" that got me interested in one of these in the first place. And I couldn't help notice a similarity between a 58 Olds and my work station. Kinda funny.
