I just flat out routed the line up the wrong side of the motor last time. It's fixed now tho, just a dumb headache.

It's late but I wanted to turn the day around a bit.
Dragged my seat into my dining room and started tearing it down.

Managed to get the top stripped and then decided to clean up the mess and call it a night.

Should be able to get it all stripped and painted in the driveway tomorrow so I can start reassembly.

It's in really good shape and the top doesn't look like it needs any repairs, just clean and paint.

I was thinking of this build...he's been through a rough patch a while back...but I checked out his YouTube channel and he's just recently helped a buddy rescue a 30's Thames truck...so he seemed in good spirits, bonus...so he was on a month ago, upholstery jail might be it...we'll see...

    hey everyone!

i got the truck running and pulling fuel on its own and it even sat and idled!

i have a video of it but i cant post video here.
im actually filming a new youtube video this week updating everyone with all of my projects and ill have a section in that about the truck, along with my other two winter projects. i reached a 1000 subscribers so like i gotta tell everyone thanks and whats going on!!

not gonna lie my mental health hasn't really put me in a place to work on the truck.
i did buy two "better than what i have" front fenders so now i can finish the cowl repairs and bolt the whole front clip on and itll be ready to roll.
upholstery has been at a stand still...because of me. i have everything to do it but zero motivation. its all in a nice clean pile in my dining room waiting for a quick paint and then assembly. which honestly wont take that long.

i havent forgotten about this place. i just havent been doing anything (with the truck).

i did indeed pull a thames out of a dusty ass garage a few weeks ago though and that was an incredibly stressful but fun thing to do.

im going to be insulating my garage very soon so hopefully ill bring ya some updates. i think im coming over this current hump of lack of motivation. i kind of have to. ive got a shovelhead to build, my own dyna to build, and my truck that I want all to be done by spring. and they will be because thats how i roll.

  12. Keep hammering away at it, MTL Tony. Your truck is the inspiration that will lead you to get it running on a regular basis. Then drive the wheels off. It gives me hope, too. You're rubbing off on me.

He did have some pretty tough life events, he might not be prioritizing the truck right now.
