I have a 1949 Mercury that I would like to put hood support struts on. Is there any place to buy the hardware and struts from like possibly a kit out there somewhere.
Struts from a 2002 ford superduty will work. You have to source a 5/16"-24 threaded ball end to screw into the upper mount. Look in McMaster car. On the lower you can remove one of the fender bolts. They work well but I don't dig the look of them
