The Powerplant is a 324 Olds with 371 heads and a 3 speed overdrive merc tranny. The frame is C notched and the rear springs are moved in and up from the stock position. We cut the front springs and have dropped spindles and steering arms. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Took the body off the frame and put the frame on the table cut the stock crossmember out and made a new reinforced crossmember higher up. Gonna finish mocking up the frame tear everything down get the frame sandblasted powdercoat the frame and then reassemble. Then we will start body work! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Well, if you change your mind on the convertible thing, I have a coupe roof for a '51 here with all the trim, quarter panel pieces, etc. -

Today we finished welding up the frame and took it off the table. Its almost ready for disasembly. Tomorrow im going to put the body back on and see how the car sits and then when it sits how i want it ill take the body and everything else off then have the frame sandblasted and then paint it.
