A friend is putting the final touches on his very nice 49 Olds convertible. He has these four trim pieces that he can't recall where they go. They appear to be chromed steel. Can anyone help with their location on the Olds.

Wow. At least he has them. If he's not doing stock, does he need them? Maye the AACA or one of the Olds clubs like
    oldsmobileclub.org.

He is putting all of the trim back on the car.

  4. Maybe the two 'grill bars' between the headlights and turn signals? Two per side...

Well, he says that is all one piece. I have come up with the phone number for the president of the OK Olds club. Maybe he can help him.

Did they come with the car? Did he take them off? Maybe trim on inside of car? Seats maybe? If he didn't remove them maybe they came off different car.

My friend is 84 years old and has been working on this car for probabaly 15 years. At the same time he has been operating his machine shop and driving a 57 Bel Air. The Olds is far from restored, Fatman front stub, 9" Ford rear, 454 Chevy engine, and custom bucket sat interior, so any of your points may apply fastcar.
