I now have a pair of NOS front fender stone or gravel guards AKA curb buffer for my 1950 Mercury Sport Sedan and due to the notch on the bottom of the fender stainless rocker moldings or trim is required. From what Ron W told me skirts can be a factor in thee length as well as year. I also have the correct 1949-50 skirts as well. Who has any for sale other than C&G who are tooooo shy to post a picture of their reproductions so I can't determine if they are correct or what quality they are. Yes these are usually found on the Monterey but they were optional and could be ordered and installed on any model according to my parts manual.
