Ok I am looking at a clean 1950 Fleetline 350/350 camero Rear end Posi B&M Rachet shifter Dayton 14' Wheels Visor New Grey Cloth interior Driver paint. What do you think I am looking at?? Bigdaddy
Alright...I'll bite, but I'm going to bed after this. 1950 Fleetline - $1500 w/o a power-plant 350/350 - Depends on what you really want...Maybe a used setup for $500 and pray to God that it runs and shifts camero Rear end Posi - $200 from craigslist or something B&M Rachet shifter - Order a Jegs catalog...they'll tell you what it's worth Dayton 14' Wheels - I have some rotting in my buddy's back yard. You pay shipping. Visor - Like the green ones that poker dealers wear?? $400-$500 repop New Grey Cloth interior - Hmm....Try a local upholstery shop. If you're asking, you can't afford Fat Lucky's. Driver paint - Rustoleum is about $8 a quart, i believe. Buy two. Treat yourself. This is really a question of "What's it worth to you" and it depends on exactly what level of detail you're looking for. Heck, why not just buy one on Epay and drive the ****in' wheels off of it?
I saw one for sale last weekend. Shaved handles, deck, fugly custom grille, yellow paint over lots of filler that needed redone, interior was nice, console in it, 350-350, ran and drove. Had $4500 on the window. I thought it was high given it needed paint - lots of chips, s****es and things all over - and you could see bondo in a lot of spots where the paint was chipped. $2500 was more like it. But WTF do I know? I do know that on eBay you can get a damned nice 49-52 Chevy for not a lot of scratch, as long as it's not a hardtop or convertible. Compare to stuff on there.
