1950 Chevy rear window chrome removal?

    Is it in the groove in the rubber or does it have clips? I don't wanna tear up my chrome getting it off.....

    It's grooved, sits into the rubber.

    Yep,it's hooked in the groove.You're best off cutting the gasket away and replacing it.(not that expensive)

    The gasket is hard and brittle anyway.

    The chrome goes in to the rubber before you install it in the car. Once installed it is about impossible to remove
    without destroying it. It's best to sub this out if ya haven't done it before.
