An old friend of mine was looking over my '48 5 window the other day and he told me he had some super rare parts for it that I've never even heard of. He said that in 1950 before Ford used the name Thunderbird, that chevy had a package that the used on trucks with the "thunderbird package". Told me that he had a thunderbird steering wheel and hood ornament off of one and that he would find it and sell or give it to me. He described a steering wheel that was like a rim blow ****erfly and a hood ornament with an eagles head. I'm yet to see the parts and I've never heard of such a thing. Did these exist? Any one got pics? Thanks
