Technical 1950 Dodge hood

Ok, so I am trying to put my 50 dodge hood on. Hood and hinges are mounted. It is the open position. I can not close the hood. It will not move down from the fully open position. All original parts. I think if I pull down too hard I will bend the hood.

 

Did ya grease em up? You are correct, forcing it will result in some foul language

It a bunch and kept moving it up and down and it finally came down. Now alignment is in order. Thanks again.
