Traded for this and was told it was a 396 with a 350 transmission.Since I know almost nothing about Chevys, I took it to a local garage that is owned by a Chevy guy. He told me that it is indeed a 396 with a 350 auto transmission. Has a camaro subframe and a painless wiring kit. Most have a 350 engine so this is kind of unique to have one with a 396. Truck is from Oklahoma and is extremely solid. Has the following options: air conditioning, power steering, front disc brakes, tilt wheel, autometer gauges, bucket seats, Griffin aluminum radiator, and American Racing wheels. Lot of chrome under the hood. Just put a new high torque starter on it. Paint is good for a driver, entering in local shows or cruise ins, with a lot of custom work done to it. Would need paint if you are wanting a full blown show truck. Needs a wiper motor. The previous owner is available to answer questions concerning the truck. According to him the engine has about 1,700 miles on it. Email me for pics justford@windstream.net
