I finally painted my hood . Looks great. A few specks of trash to sand and rub out. ImageUploadedByTJJ1321458020.809173.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1321458068.074558.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1321458111.283671.jpg

    thanks for the inspiration.

i've had a big gaping hole in my garage since i sold my 52 coupe, but theres a 49 fleet in the driveway waiting for the green light.

Well I worked a bit on my rear notch today .. I got alot done. Hopefully I'll get the rear suspension back on tomorrow. Then I can push her outside for a better pic.

Like I had mentioned before I'm not bagging it so I made my own mild notch from 3/16 plate. No sense in going crazy with a 1 and a half foot notch. It's just enough to ride nice. And some growing room if I wanted to go 1 or 2 inches lower .

Again thanks for all the kind words guys... About my car and health. I'm feeling 100 percent better lately and glad to get some work done. Here's another pic of almost finish notch... But sorry I probably wont be in the incredible welds thread.. On the bright side I've never had anything break. ImageUploadedByTJJ1321754518.037448.jpg

Well she finally getting there! It's running now, and cranked on first try. All that's let now is interior . Little bit of brake work and exhaust. Waiting on my headliner to arrive so I can start ***embling the inside. I'm also thinking of metalflakeing the top . But not completely sure yet.. What do you guys think? Everything bright white! Except for the carpet, it will be black. Seats will be 2 tone blk/wht. Door panels and seats will be vinyl of course!

black and white here. the previous owner failed to tell me that there was major rust on the driver side floor. nothing that bad that could be fixed so i'll be cutting it out and replacing soon. fker put a piece of sheetmetal to hide it and taped the fk out of it with insulation b.s. stuff.

    Your car is looking fantastic!

So clean and simple.. and on that note, i wouldnt metalflake the roof, its so understated and cl***y as it is, its so rare that you see a guy who can stand having a car as mild as yours, and it looks great! Thats just my $0.02 though :)

It also seems as if we have the same plans for our interiors :)

I think I'm gonna flip flop my seat pattern though. We don't want to be twins now . I'll probably do white on backs and top and black where u sit. They do look awesome either way.
