Can't say that I've ever driven a clip'd car. My king pins are good, so I just updated anything that was rubber, used Aerostar coils, and converted to disc brakes (no kit). I have yet to drive the car, but it seemed easier than doing a clip and then having to rebuild whatever was/is worn out on the clip. Just my .02 cents. It's your car, do what pleases you.
