who would of thought that a quick shop project would've turned into this beautiful car....best of luck at the show man!!
The car will look great. Love the color scheme carried out through the entire car. Impressive to drive the maiden voyage this distance. Best of luck to get the car ready!!!
I have just spent a thoroughly enjoyable hour reading this thread. It is a pleasure watching a craftsman at work. I can't wait to see it done.
Yaril, can't wait to see it when you get back to Florida. You going to make the Groundhog show? Good luck on the drive out.
glad you got it all together, keep us posted on your trek accross the country_ your doing something many us have always wanted to do, have a safe trip!

bitchin build if i ever saw one! although your build is a little more complicated, i know what it feels like. we finished our 52 at 6pm on load in day to make the 7pm deadline for the Long Beach Motorama... pretty exhilarating to say the least. neat build and i look forward to seeing it at GNRS.
<TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=4 width="100%" height="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>Tuesday nights stop in Texas. A buddy of mine, ScottyG (that I'm pissed at 'cause he didn't call me! ), posted this on another board: ------------ Yaril and Leo stopped by my shop and spent a couple of hours checking out how the car was doing so far. They just left about an hour ago. Two very cool guys. They are freezing their butts off in this cool (upper 30's) weather, but they seem to be hanging tough and enjoying the ride.... they've gone 1,100 miles to get here, and have about 1,600 more to get to Pomona.... hard core roadtripping! Good stuff We did a few tweaks here and there, tightened a few bolts, and found a loose tie rod that could've been big trouble down the road. Overall, the car seems to be doing very well so far. It's impressive what he and Leo have done. Lots of style, very cool ride. I was really glad to have helped out. I've got me a couple of new friends in Florida. Too cool! I wish Yaril had an Iphone with the Jalopy Journal app... he could post pictures along the way!
I got a message from Yaril this morning... he (and the Ford) made it to CA! I can just picture him sliding into his spot at the Fairplex all Ace Ventura-style... "Lllllike a glove!"
