For Sale is a 1950 Ford 2 door Sedan. Chopped ( a lot ! ) The pix were taken some time ago along the way while I was building it. It has since progressed, and I have tons of pix to see if interested. All the metal work on the chop was tig welded and protected with Gibbs oil immediately. The body panels were mig welded and shot in epoxy primer after all the hammer and dolly work was completed. All inner window garnish moldings have been chopped to fit and metal finished. All work has been left without being covered with bondo and/or filler. 1955 Plymouth grill highly modified to fit in the shoebox opening. 1950 Oldsmobile 98 taillights. Rear bumper narrowed 2" and tucked in to fit body. New wiring harness. Engine bay wires tucked and out of site. New firewall mount brake pedal, booster and master cylinder, with all new Ni-Cop brake lines. New S-10 calipers and pads. New S-10 rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. It has new sheetmetal all around...new inner and outer rockers, new rear lower quarters from the doors back, new frame supports. The front fenders were taken down to bare metal, rust and rot removed and shot in epoxy primer ( the only bondo on the fenders is to blend the 1949-52 Chevy stainless headlight rings into the fender ). It has new gl*** and window seals front and rear. The car has a 2003 S-10 front clip with new dropped spindles and new 3" lowering springs and new shocks. It has a Chevy 305 engine with a TH350 transmission, new 3 core aluminum radiator, new mechanical fuel pump and an S-10 rear. No problems getting the back wheels on or off. The rear has de-arched posi super-slide leafs with 3" lowering blocks. Drive-shaft tunnel has been raised and enlarged to clear driveshaft and rear differential with no rubbing. Frame had been step notched in the rear with a gambino kit with the ability to lay frame and still have clearance. Has a stock ford bench ( rips and tears etc ) seat that needs to be re-upholstered or run it with a Mexican blanket. I don't have a back seat now but can get one. Tons more that I can't remember... Was building for a friend.... and you know how that goes...... Contact me here... if you are serious we can talk.
