1950 Ford Dash in a model A???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by chopsaw209, Jun 7, 2010.

  1. Got this 1950 Ford p***enger car dash on evil bay for $1.00 plus shipping! chopped it up and looking to stuff it in my little A. What you guys think? Obviously gonna get a touch of filler and a new paint job.

  16. Dude that looks awesome! Thanks for posting that pic, now I really can't wait to get that thing mounted up!

  17. Any suggestions on an old school looking combo gauge for that dash? Something with Speedo, tach, oil, and temp at least.

the stock gauge pod should work if not the 51 has everything you're looking for.

Looks great! I fitted a '52 Olds dash in my '37 Olds. Took 6" out of the middle (basically lost the radio), welded back together, scribed along the window and cut to fit. Pretty easy and it looks great. Still need to fill and paint, but just wanted to say it wasn't very hard and the cool factor is there...
