Well since we got Miss Jones my 7 yo son has turned from the Wii into a gear head... Memphis and Merci my two hoodlums have begged me to drive them to school in the Ford .... Wow who said kids todays don't know what cool is..... We pulled up and every 5 to 8 yo heads turned ... They all came over to see Memphis's kustom.... My son felt like a king ....The best part is he was telling them what Dad and him have done to get her back on the road..... Listening to a 7 yo knowing what motor,******, rearend, and shifter is in Dad's / his kustom.... Well guys thought I would share my son's glory..... have a great day .... Now Memphis is the King Of Cool in Oakflat grade school.....
That rocks! I still remember my dad driving me to school in his '57 GMC pickup with a three-deuce 389 and four speed backed up with a 4:56 gear. One of may hotrods he had. That's why I take my youngest everywhere in my hotrods. He likes them. r
Thats to cool. Glad he likes the old car. Teach them young and the hobbie will live forever...... Cool Pic
My of the girls I work with has a son. He's 15 and stops by my house occ***ionaly when his mother is at work. One day, he stopped by to play video games until he had to go back to school. I asked him if he wanted a ride to school. He said yes, so I asked him which car he wanted to go in. The '32 or '65. He said either, so I took the '32 3 window. I pulled to the front of school but there was no one there. I asked him where everyone was. He said they entered on the side of the school so I told him I would drive him over there. He said it was alright, he would get off there. I said, "You don't understand, when the girls see you getting out of this car, they will ask you all kinds of questions. That's how you meet girls!". It worked and he told his mother how cool I was. Now he wants to go to cruises with me. I created a monster!
