Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get an engine and prferably transmission too for a 1950 Ford F1. I am looking for a cheap new one, doesnt matter if I have to put it together myself. It would be nice if someone knew of a place in Alberta or surrounding area, even an internet site that sells engines. One that I have had an interest in is a 460 BIG BLOCK. Secondly, does anyone know of any other sites.stores that sell old truck parts, like LMC and what not Thanks Joel
I have a Crate 302 sb/C-4 trans/9"rear Ford in my F-1, Small block chevy fit's pretty good and may be simpler to find parts for. Check out Sacramento Vintage Ford, Bobs Fun 100's in So-Cal. have some great catalogs. Best of Luck!
