George on your way to Fresno hit us up here in Merced. I am off work half the week anyway and would like to check it out. I know where the good lunch spots are.
Erik not really sure yet. I need to get it home and ponder it for a few days. Maybe we can get together have a couple cold ones and some Barbeque at my place and just figure it out from there. It's a clean slate that I have to work with.
Just an update. Hauled the 35 to Fresno. Joe Rosa rode with me to help me out. I dropped the 35 off. Picked up his 47 Woody and hauled it to the painters. Dropped it off and picked up the Hudson. Rained almost all the way home. Been a long ass day.
Wait a minute was that Joe Rosa's car? Shit if it was thhats cools its finally getting done! What do you mean chrome/trim? is it not been done? Is the car painted and the trim hasnt been cut welded fit ect yet? Im confused. Dave Hitch
Dave,It was Joes car. He sold it to Chris in 07 and I bought it from Chris and brought it back to the Bay Area.
No shit that's cool! I remember that car he had it when I bought my Hudson from che in the mission. If I remember right that car also came from Che. O could have it wrong that was a long time ago. I don't remember the merc grill did Chris do that? If you know anyone that wants another brougham to build I have one. I know selfish plug to sell a car Dave Hitch FBBF
Yes that car was bought through Che. Chris did the 53 chevy shell then cut up a Merc grill. Dont need another Brougham. Do you have a spare back seat you want to sell?
I got a spare seat sitting in a four door it has the fold down back in the middle serves as an arm rest you can have it come get it! Dave Hitch FBBF
After gathering every thing for the Pontiac to go to it's new home. I got the Hudson in the back shop and hung the hood springs.
