A little action from the photoshop thread. Colors will be adjusted, skirts and sidepipes added, but this is getting close 4DA07DAC-C963-4978-BFC9-B16A591E65B6.jpeg

You are correct about the sweet running flathead. Mine runs duals through huge oval mufflers and has a fine low rumble out back. 100_3356.JPG 100_3357.JPG

I like this car, but I can not finish it. It is for sale. Someone please bring me a few dollars and take it away.

I am all but disabled. I was trying to do some work around here over the weekend, now I feel like I set my knee back six weeks or more. I need to sell all project cars and my stash of parts. I need a finished car or none.

Gettin my mojo back, so I got my Lincoln back. First thing is to fix (or replace) that gas tank. I saw Chaddilac driving it on the Tube, hadda hav it back. I have some plans, but first thing, need to be able to drive to town and back.

James, that’s an Interesting grill treatment, kinda takes away from the headlights, which can be a good thing. I will probably fill those holes. Also, the bumper has been cut down. I plan to replace my front bumper, or maybe I can section the bumper. I think it’s too thick and clunky.
I’m firm believer that thick thighs save lives, but customs should have something thin and sleek.

@Tim yeah, I believe Eric had a hand in the “E Job” that that debuted recently. Believe it or not, I thought of filling in the headlights years ago but that car proved it can look good. 8A5B90F9-3948-4CC2-B2EE-9C20E3016025.jpeg

This is the original “Y Job” concept car. I think it can work on this Lincoln. Making removable covers is definitely something I can try. Not actually that hard to do. I opened my mouth, now to make happen. 72E76959-86F9-48C5-83C1-122621445DA8.jpeg

Thanks, I had just about completely given up. A doctor might tell you there are no symptoms to kidney cancer: ********. Something was ****ing the life out of me for about ten years.

I need to focus on that gas tank, but it’s raining, and my new wheels and tires came in. This is where I’m headed.

Actually, a chopped top is pretty far fetched on a net-zero budget. Not that that’s truly possible, but I already sold the hubcaps (wheel covers) for $100. A drop in the bucket, but I’ll take it!

And yes, I like spotlights, side pipes and fender skirts. Naysayers can deal with it or ignore it.

That looks pretty good with the stock body. I believe I will remove my stock trim and sell it. Anyone looking for a set? My side trim is different than that pic (higher opinion model). My trim covers up the “Mercury” door dip. I will be posting about filling a bunch of big holes.

This is the base Lincoln, model 9 EL. This is not a Cosmopolitan. Mercury had their “Eight” model and the 9 is a step up. I’m guessing the EL stands for “Extended Lincoln”, could be wrong. I think I might come up with a name, something like “El Randtundo”.

Yes, also, I like wire wheels. They are traditional as Hell.

    maybe “EL Guapo Gigante” ?

He is a good example of my long-term goal. Would love to have a chopped Carson Top. Might have to do it myself. Did you notice it’s a four door?

Be easy with parts. I picked up a 49 lincoln for 400 bucks recently, sold the VERY ROUGH bumpers for 500. Point is, dont toss stuff, join a specific lincoln fb group and list the parts as well as on here. You can pay for a good chunk of your build with the extra bits!

These factory frenched headlights, you either love em or hate em. I don’t think they look bad on this one, must be at just the right angle? 15AA2F41-899E-4B93-B6F8-226C50D8CA96.jpeg

Got to say, just making Y-Job style headlamp covers would really transform the look of one of these.
