bigtoe, The new 1949-51 Mercury ball Joint kits are finally finished and turned out great. here is a pic of the kit. They can be found on our website. Don't forget that all HAMB members get 10% off[IMG]

  4. OK, So looking at the parts in the diagram and looking at my Stock Merc frame. I have a question. The lower A-Frame bolts solid to the lower crossmember, non adjustable. The upper A-Frames bolt solid the to mount on top of the frame as stock, non adjustable. They use Granada balljoints and bolt solid to the Spindle, non adjustable. The stock Merc had Cam bushings to set camber-caster. How do you adjust it now with everything bolted solid to the frame? Curious.

We did not picture all the hardware, but there are brackets that bolt to the frame where the original upper a-arm bolted. The new a-arm bolts to this bracket and allows the use of traditional shims for alignment just like todays cars.
