First off- My car is a factory two tone,and I plan on keeping it that way. I'm trying to find some info on the paint codes.... I've searched the net,and all over,but cannot come up with results,so here's todays dillemma... Bottom is Banning Blue. That I'm sure. The top is white,or shall I say a dirty white. The only thing I have to go off of is the underside of the deck lid(which has excellent paint from the factory).When I look up paint codes, the closest is trojan gray,but it's not the white I see. I cannot find any other listings or codes. I can have the paint matched. I'm just trying to find the correct code number,or even something that says "white". Is the trojan gray the "white"? Looks way different to me,but i'm unsure. Also for kicks- through reserch,I see two tone paints becoming popular and listed heavily advertised starting around 52'. Not too much info for 50'. If matching is my only option,that's gonna happen,but,if there's the "white" out there,and it (#) will cross over....I'll be good! Thanks-Kid
Checked body tag and has code # 37- = top trojan gray,bottom banning blue. Just the top didn't look gray to me,nor does the underside of my deck,which has IMO NEVER been repainted. So,with all that BS,does anyone have the "Trojan Gray" anywhere,and does it look like a "dirty white" to you?
You can pick up pages out of the paint code books on ebay for pretty cheap for your year and make of car. Then take them to your local paint store to see if they can cross to new formulas. And they usually have additional interior and two-tone info on the back sides.
